Thank you for choosing APUL education.
What type of course is it?
This preparatory camp is an additional educational product in the APUL skiing course offer. It is organised in the scope of 2 days in Austria or 1 day in the Czech Republic. It is open to skiers over 17 years of age who have successfully completed the APUL Skiing D course (or a recognised equivalent). The preparatory camp does not end with an exam and its output is a personalised feedback and recommendations for further training by the course lecturer.
What to expect on the course?
At the preparatory camp for the APUL Skiing C course we extend, repeat and consolidate the skills and competences acquired at the APUL Skiing D course. The aim of the course is to prepare you for the most successful completion of the APUL Skiing C course. The emphasis is on all three core areas of the APUL concept and the skills associated with them. Education and learning tools, analytical skills and skiing technique. We focus on interacting with more advanced skiers of all ages with an emphasis on private lessons. Throughout the course there is a strong emphasis on personal improvement of parallel skiing technique. Candidates are prepared throughout the course for a deeper understanding of the APUL technical concept and how it connects to skiing skills.
What are the entry criteria?
What is the daily program? (course structure)
The course content is divided into a practical part on the slope and a theoretical part in the form of lectures and workshops. The daily programme will be adapted to the weather, local and snow conditions. Adjustments to the course programme are the responsibility of the course leader.
